I bought this 2007 KTM 250 SX for $700 already completely torn apart after the engine had blown up. This was my first project where I had sponsors on board. Millennium Technologies replated the cylinder, Shinko provided tires, and DeCal Works provided the graphics and seat cover.
I realized that lots of OEM parts were missing, and this bike became my first lesson in purchasing bikes that have already been torn apart. While some people are very organized and make it easy, some people aren’t. This build was a bit tricky from start to finish, but I managed to get this bike back up and running and still turned a $1,400 profit.
